FUNDING INFORMATION
The Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Foundation primarily funds organizations that help the people of Webb and Zapata Counties, Texas.
These organizations must qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and its regulations.
If your organization meets the criteria listed above, please follow the steps to apply for funding:
The GLM Foundation has our annual meeting at the end of November to consider grant requests for 2024. If you would like to be considered at that time, please email your grant request to funding@glmfoundation.org between September,15 and no later than October 15, 2023.
In your request packet, please include a letter of request from your organization indicating the amount and how the funding will be used. Also include the following information:
Who you are, the name of your organization, and your organization’s
mission/community impactA list of your organization’s Board of Directors
A copy of your organization’s 2022-23 budget
You MUST include a copy of your IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter with your request
You MUST include the latest copy of your organization’s 990 report
If you are a previous grant recipient, include a report/documentation of how your organization utilized funding from the Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Foundation.
If you have supplemental documents, PLEASE name each document beginning with the name of your organization and what the document is.

The Name of Your Organization Mission.doc
The Name of Your Organization 990.doc
The Name of Your Organization Board.doc
The Name of Your Organization 501c3.doc
Email your letter of request and supporting documents to funding@glmfoundation.org
The Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Foundation will not consider incomplete grant requests.
